Coop Security · Canberra, Australia
Field maps, apps, cloud and security reviews from one small Australian practice.
We deliver the files, the running system or the written report — and a plain account of what is and is not included.

Four services
Each one has its own page with what you get, how we work and what it costs.
-
Map packs
Printed site maps, plot plans, field sheets and GPS waypoints, built from one point on the map. -
App design
Native iOS and macOS apps and web apps, from discovery to the App Store. -
Cloud architecture
Design, migration and day-to-day operation of workloads on AWS and Azure, as code, with costs in view. -
Security reports
Configuration and exposure reviews of cloud and on-premise environments, with written findings in priority order.
How we work
Three steps, the same for every job
-
Step 1: Scope in writing
A short call, then a one-page scope: what we will deliver, what we will not, the price and the date.
-
Step 2: Work you can see
Drafts, test builds or the plan as it forms. Questions go to one address and get answered.
-
Step 3: Hand over everything
Files, source, access and a written summary. Nothing you would need later stays with us.
Map packs
A map pack from one point
Send a coordinate and a plot size. We draw a pack of print-ready A4 sheets from 1 m LiDAR and aerial imagery, check every sheet, and send the files.
- Four site maps: geology, aerial imagery, LiDAR canopy and topography
- Four plot plans with a randomised layout of 1 × 1 m frames
- Field sheets that match the layout, with room to write
- GPX waypoints of the frame centres for a GPS watch
- Sources and licences printed on every sheet
For field use in the ACT and surrounding NSW. Not a survey, and not legal or regulatory advice.

Six things we hold to
-
Fixed scope, fixed price
Agreed in writing before any work starts.
-
One contact
The person doing the work answers your questions.
-
Everything handed over
Files, source, access and a written summary are yours.
-
Findings in plain words
Reports lead with what matters, in priority order.
-
Your region
Workloads and files stay in the cloud region you nominate.
-
Small on purpose
A few jobs at a time. We say no when we are full.
Where the work goes
Eight common jobs
-
Field survey
Site maps and field sheets for ecology, archaeology and soil work. Print them, mark them up, bring them back. -
Study-site figures
Location and site figures for reports and papers, with sources and licences printed on the sheet. -
Land management
A closer look at a block: the shape of the ground, the rock beneath it and where the tall trees stand. Planning information, not a survey. -
App prototypes
A clickable prototype in two to four weeks, to test an idea with real users before you pay for a build. -
Cloud migration
Moving existing workloads to AWS or Azure with infrastructure as code, a cut-over plan and a way back. -
Cost review
A line-by-line review of a cloud bill. Changes ranked by saving and by risk, including the ones to skip. -
Cloud security review
Configuration and exposure review of an AWS or Azure account. Written findings, in priority order. -
On-premise review
The same review for servers, networks and devices on your own premises. Scope agreed first.
The first three images are crops of sheets 11, 01 and 13 of the Cotter – Paddys River sample pack; the other five are line drawings standing in for photographs. Map credits are in the footer.
Jacob consistently demonstrated outstanding expertise in cloud computing… His ability to learn new technologies quickly and his strong documentation skills were invaluable to our operations.
